| Tyler Wickerham paddles his boat across the pool as part of his Boat Hull Challenge in Power, Energy, and Transportation. Tyler and his group had to design and engineer a boat hull from cardboard that would transport one of their team members the length of the pool and back. |

| Andrew Bowers works in Power, Energy, and
Transportation to create a template for the wheels on his Mouse Trap
Vehicle design. Andrew knows that the larger the diameter of the wheel,
the greater the circumference; therefore the greater linear distance per
rotation of the axle the vehicle will travel making it more efficient. |

| Mario Leone works on his design of a Mouse Trap
Powered Vehicle in the Energy, Power and Transportation class. Students
create their design either mechanically or electronically to engineer a
vehicle that will travel a maximum distance possible. |
