SPANISH MUSIC FESTIVAL
|
In November, Spanish Club members, accompanied by Seora Giannamore and Seor Dino, went to the Soldier & Sailors Memorial in Pittsburgh for a Spanish music festival. The students danced and sang and built up quite an appetite. After the performance, the group enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. |

SPANISH CHRISTMAS PARTY On December 9, the Spanish Club Members met for their annual Christmas party in the cafeteria. Pizza, pop, and confections were on the menu. ALSO, candy was "served" once the piata was broken!! |
Senorita Stablein organized a trip for Spanish students through Travel Adventures, which is an educational travel company that specializes in organizing trips to Spanish-related US cities. A total of 53 students, accompanied by Seorita Stablein, Seor Dino, Seorita Flatt, Seora Giannamore, and Seor Hall, traveled to Chicago. The group went to the Mexican Museum of Art, took Latin dance lessons, visited shops in the Little Mexican Village, participated in the Fiesta with other schools, ice skated in Millennium Park, shopped on the Magnificent Mile, visited Navy Peer, the Chicago Zoo, and a Christmas market. It was a fantastic learning experience for all who attended (and lots of fun, too)!! |
