NHS MEMBERS TACKLE HUNGER
Ending Hunger Here at Home!!

The week of September 20 was declared Tackle Hunger Week, and our NHS members campaigned whole-heartedly to gather food for the less fortunate (in conjunction with the Westmoreland County Food Bank).  A Hat Day was held at the high school, and donation boxes were placed at the main doors.  NHS members also accepted donations (non-perishables and cash) from community members prior to the Friday night football game.  The group collected 285 pounds of food and $609.
