Hours of Availability

The Library Media Center is open on school days from Monday through Friday 7:25 a.m. to 2:55 p.m.

 

Rules and Responsibilities

Students are expected to act responsibly and respect the rights of others while in the Library Media Center.   Standard rules that apply in the classroom also apply in the Library Media Center.

Food & Drinks are not permitted near the computers.

Students must have a signed and dated Library pass or handbook from their teacher to be admitted.

Grades are held at the end of each term for overdue books and library fines!


Rights and Responsibilities of Users

Users can:
  • examine and use interactive electronic formats.
  • examine a broad range of opinions, ideas and information in the educational process.
  • locate and use information on the Internet as provided by acceptable use policy guidelines.
  • retain ownership of their own intellectual works as users of the Internet.
Users cannot:
  • check personal e-mail
  • use the network for commercial or for-profit purposes.
  • participate in harassment, discriminatory remarks, and other inappropriate behaviors.
  • use the network for any illegal activity, including violation of copyright or other contracts.
  • damage computer, computer systems or computer networks.
  • invade the privacy of network users.
  • gain unauthorized access to computer networks, resources or materials.
  • use the network to access obscene or pornographic materials.
  • access chat groups

Photocopies

A copier is available at no cost for student use.


Charges

A charge of 5 cents per day will be assessed for overdue regular books.  Overnight/Non-circulating books are fined at a rate of 40 cents per day overdue.
