The BVA High School Choir has 125 students in it this year.  It is NOT considered an extracurricular activity . . . it is part of the curriculum and is a graded course.  It is split into two classes . . . periods 2 and 5 AB.  Each year, the choir takes a trip. 

The choir is split into alto, soprano, tenor, baritone and bass groups and performs at three concerts a year . . . Fall, Christmas and Spring.  There are several opportunities for solo work and small ensembles.  Also, students have the opportunity to audition for the Westmoreland County High School Choral Festival, PMEA District 1 Choral Festival, PMEA District 1 and 5 Region Festival, and the PMEA All State Festival.
